Lucy Apple – mid-80’s, in spite of having Alzheimer’s she is very healthy, a clear sign of the care given to her by her daughter, Brenda.

Chuck Clark – mid 50’s, few extra pounds, police officer, a go “by the book” guy who has a tender side when dealing with “non police” matters.

Brenda Apple – mid 50’s, retired from her teaching career of 32 years to care for her mother, Lucy.  Dowdy looking.  She is capable of exploding when pushed to her limit.

Lynn Apple-Taylor – just turned 50, still beautiful, well built, vivacious, everything that can be fixed has been fixed.  She’s bold, brash and tends to drink too much.

Jessie Apple – mid 40’s, plain looking, a cut to the chase person
